  Raised and educated in Baltimore, Maryland, Eli Rosenthal came to New York City in 1953
to attend a summer session at the Art Students League and stayed on to become an award-winning
advertising art director, graphic designer, sculptor and painter.
 
  Eli is a juried member of the Pennsylvania Watercolor Society, the New Jersey
Watercolor Society, the Baltimore Watercolor Society and the Northeast Watercolor Society.
 
  His recent awards are the Matilda Grich Memorial Award (Northeast Watercolor Society),
the Doris D. Schoonmaker Memorial Award (New Jersey Watercolor Society), and the John Singer
Sargent Award (CAA).
 
 
  Eli teaches, demonstrates and conducts workshops in watercolor painting.
